Competitors must also enter and play in at least one other class. Competitors to play the first movement only in the first session, but must be prepared to play more if requested by the Adjudicator. Recalls will play the whole Sonata on the Final night. The winner to receive the N.Z. School of Music Cup and $500 donated by North Shore Lodge No 52, The second prize is $200 donated by Mr Bruce Farrell and the third prize is $150 donated by Brian Sayer
